Dawn here, from the little mennonite blog, to help you create a fun and easy chick card.  Chicks bring new life so January is a perfect time for this card!

Directions:

I used the Totem Duck set for this card, turning the ducks into chicks!  I started out by painting the ducks yellow and orange.  Next I added gold Martha Stewart fine glitter to the yellow parts.  Then I assembled the ducks to create cute chicks with glue (instead of brads) and googly eyes!

For the card panel, I started with a A2 white card and then added a die cut pattered paper oval with wave and cloud die cuts attached.  I did the die cutting on my Cameo and my Cuttlebug (the waves are Lawn Fawn dies).  The pattered paper is from a really old 12×12 paper pack.

Finally, I adhered the oval and cute chicks to the card front.  I made sure to add a little detail by added gold Lawn Fawn cord under the oval.  I added a great sentiment and detail on the card front and cute chicks with GelWriter gel pens.  When adding gel pen to the chicks (over the glitter) I was sure to pick contrasting colours so it would show up: purple on the yellow and blue on the orange.  Now your all done!  Give it to a lady you love and watch her smile!
