I was born in Taiwan, grew up in Brazil and I’ve been living in the US for 9 years now. I have been married for 11 years and I have two little boys, a Sheltie (Jazz, the dog) and a Ragdoll (Angel, the cat). I always liked drawing and painting since I was a little kid (I took some drawing and oil painting classes).I started rubber stamping in 2004, when a friend invited me to make cards with some other ladies. I’m a bit eclectic when it comes to style…it depends on the stamps and patterned papers/products I use, inspiration, etc. Sometimes it’s clean, shabby chic, and/or mixed media, but stamping is usually included! I enjoy making things, rubber stamping, card making, scrapbooking and photography. Other interests:dancing, going to the zoo, museums, Dog shows and Arabian Horse shows.
My name is Laura Tyson and I reside in Florida “Sunshine State”. I was born in Lithuania, but have been living in USA for last 12 years. I create from the influences of both American and European cultures, often using mixed media themes. I also have a habit of collecting natural objects (flowers, leaves etc) and using them in my compositions. My compositions include mixed media art collages, altered objects, 3D assemblage, stenciling, stamping, watercolor and so much more. I enjoy paper crafting. My creative style is very versatile and I like to have fun experimenting and combining various materials. My pieces are very positive and I hope to share the beauty I see in easily unnoticed objects. I also enjoy gardening and baking.

My name is Dawn. I’m a 30 something artist, crafter and Mother to Monet (my cat). I’ve been drawing since I can remember and also received my B.A. in art. I’ve lived just outside beautiful (but rainy) Vancouver, Canada my entire life. We rarely get snow in the city and we happily welcome sunshine. I’m not sure what my crafting style is; I just want to stretch myself as far as I can go. Mixed media is something I’m really getting into and eyeConnect Crafts works perfectly into that category. I can wait to see what fun I will have creating with these fun, movable die cuts!

“I fell for EyeConnect Crafts’ Totem Poppets the minute I saw them. What captured me right away and has held my interest over the years is the design and how different they are from everything else in the world of paper crafts and mixed media. They are graphic and graceful, intelligent and sophisticated without being too offbeat, beautifully crafted, fun to use; neither too large nor too small. The story of each totem animal is an added bonus. I’ve always had an affinity for elephants and turtles. Now I know why! Like Goldilocks’ porridge: Just right!”
