Hello!

Lilian here today…on Christmas Day! Merry Christmas, everyone!

I have 2 projects to share today…

ECCTree_6165

First, a Christmas Tree decorated with Lace-Up: Celebration, Bulbs. With adult supervision, your kids can help you paint and decorate the tree!

How-To (Bulbs):

  1. Prime the bulbs (I couldn’t find my white acrylic paint, so I used modeling paste thinned with water). Let dry.
  2. Ink bulb with VersaMark and heat emboss it in silver (for the screw part) and a different color on the bulb part (I used red, blue, neon yellow and neon green on different bulbs). Let it cool down.
  3. Repeat heat embossing a second time.

How-To (Tree):

  1. Prime the unfinished wooden tree. I also used modeling paste thinned with water for that. Let it dry.
  2. (Kids can help you with the following steps) Paint the tree with green acrylic paint. Let it dry.
  3. Use pipe cleaners to tie the bulbs on the tree.
  4. Add die cut embellishments (circles, bows, etc).

Here’s a quick video:

The second project is a gift tag, using Lace-Ups: Tag, Large, Rectangular

7. Die cut (or punch) a snowflake, add glue and cover it with glitter.

8. Let dry and adhere it on tag, as shown.

9. On the back, write the name of gift recipient with permanent marker.
