Totem Grasshopper

A sign of good luck, nobility and wisdom in the Asian culture, grasshoppers were often kept in tiny golden cages. When you think of the grasshopper, you may think of long hot summer nights, loud with the sounds of their song. This singing can be seen as symbol of your inner voice. Grasshoppers are also a sign for forward movement, as they can only hop forward, not backward or sideways. If a grasshopper totem has arrived in you life or home, consider listening to your inner voice and taking that leap forward.

The Grasshopper Totem Poppet comes with one torso, one head, two wings, two top back leg pieces, two lower back leg pieces, and four front/middle legs. Approximately 2” x 4” when assembled, this Totem Poppets use 1/16” eyelets for assembly. Although the holes in each piece are designed to take 1/16″ eyelets, you can also use a variety of other attachment options. Please see our blog for more assembly ideas and projects.
