Totem Frog / Toad

$6.95 $3.47

Baby toads and frogs, or tadpoles, live in water and have tails and gills. As they grow, they gradually lose their tails and transition to land. This metamorphosis can be symbolic of a change coming in your life. If you have a toad or frog for a totem, you may want to look at what stage you are in your life. Is it time to transition? The song of “peepers” is a loud cadence welcoming the spring rains. Some Native American tribes believed that the song of the toad and frog could call the rains. This transformation from water to land, and from winter to spring, are symbols of the transition from the primitive waters of the subconscious to self awareness. Toads and frogs can also jump great distances. If you have a toad or frog for a totem, look forward and leap.

The Toad Totem Poppet comes with one body, one head, four top leg pieces and four bottom leg pieces. Approximately 3 ½” x 5”, this Totem Poppet uses 1/16” eyelets for assembly. Although the holes in each piece are designed to take 1/16″ eyelets, you can also use a variety of other attachment options. Please see our blog for more assembly ideas and projects.
