Hello,
Lilian here today with a project using Totem Luna Moth:

How-To (Totem Luna Moth):
1. Apply Gesso on Totem Luna Moth and let dry
2. Brayer paint color of choice on Gel Press and place a stencil on
3. Brayer the stencil, remove it and place Totem Luna Moth on. Press it using the brayer.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 with another color and stencil
5. Brayer Black pearlescent paint on body and let dry
6. Press the top edges and bottom of the wings on the black pearlescent paint on Gel Press and ink the edges using Brilliance Pearlescent
(in the video, I inked the edges afterTotem Luna Moth was assembled. But it’s easier before the assembly, right? I wasn’t planing on this…but it gives it more contrast against my background)
7. Using 1/16″ Brass Eyelets and the Fiskar Eyelet Setter Tool, assemble the Totem
8. Adhere it on printed background

How-To (background):
1. Brayer paint color(s) of choice on Gel Press and place a stencil on
2. Brayer the stencil, remove it and place white cardstock on. Press it, rolling the brayer on the back.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 with another color and a mask stencil and place a different piece of paper on
4. Remove the paper and mask stencil and place the first print on Gel Press. Brayer the back, remove it and let dry.
5. Tear the print and mat it on black cardstock (approximately 6.5 x 6.5 inches)
6. Mat it on tan cardstock (approximately 8.5 x 8.5 inches)
7. Frame it, if desired (I will probably use a 12 x 12 inches frame…).
Here’s a quick video on YouTube (in HD):
